Actress Katya Santos is Now Engaged!
Katya Santos, who rose to fame as a member of Viva Hot Babes and a mother of one is formally engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend Paolo Pilar.
Viva Hot Babe member Katya Santos is engaged! On Instagram, Katya shared a photo of the proposal made by her now fiance Paolo Pilar in Japan.
“It all started in 2004. They say it was love at first sight, but I truly believed it was destiny!” she wrote. “Now I understand whatever happened in the past needed to happen. The universe has its [own] way of bringing us back together. We [are] still headed in the same direction.”
She ended the short message by signing: ” To forever, my pungay @paopilar. “
Paolo was also seen asking Katya’s daughter Tala for permission to marry her mom.
In a separate post, Paolo said of his fiancee: ” Twenty years ago I met a wonderful woman named Katrina, [on] the beautiful island of Boracay. Today in 2024, I finally asked her to be my wife with our families, friends, and the majestic Fuji-San as witnesses. I have loved you for 20 years and would continue to do so until my last breath. To forever, my Pungay.”
Several of Katya’s friends such as Diana Zubiri, Maui Taylor, and Aiko Melendez congratulated Katya on the new chapter of her life.
From Child Star to Viva Artist
Katya first started her career as a child star on Ang TV. She would later join the Viva Hot Babes alongside Maui Taylor and Andrea del Rosario and release hits such as “Bulaklak” and ” Kikay.”
Katya also did several TV shows such as Anna Karenina, Dangal, and Make It With You. She is part of the Viva Artists. She is currently seen in the DonBelle show Can’t Buy Me Love. Her daughter Tala is from a previous relationship.
