Alfred Vargas and His Wife Yasmine are Expecting Baby Number 4!
The actor and former politician announced that his wife Yasmine is 13 weeks with their fourth baby.
Actor Alfred Vargas and his wife, model Yasmine Espiritu-Vargas, are expecting again. On Saturday, July 8, the couple shared a joint announcement on Instagram, confirming Yasmine is 13 weeks pregnant with their fourth child.
“With immense gratitude to God, the Vargas family is elated to share that my Amore, @yasmine_vargas2307 is now 13 weeks pregnant with our fourth child!” Alfred wrote.
“God has blessed me with a wonderful life. This is mainly because He has not only given me a beautiful wife, inside and out, but a brave one as well. Yasmine is truly a fighter.”
A tough pregnancy
Alfred however shared that the pregnancy has been challenging for Yasmine, sharing that this is her fourth time having Hyperemesis Gravidarum. The National Library of Medicine defines Hyperemesis Gravidarum as an “intractable vomiting during pregnancy, leading to weight loss and volume depletion, resulting in ketonuria and/or ketonemia.”
“She can’t even drink water nang hindi nagsusuka after. She lost several kilograms in the first 3 weeks,” Alfred said.
He added that this is also the second time Yasmine has experienced GAD or Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Yasmine is currently under bed rest for the first trimester and has been taking vitamins and supplements.
“We are hoping that things will get better each day that passes. So far, with God’s grace and the reliable support system that we have (doctors, experts, friends, and family), Yasmine is able to steadfastly beat every challenge that arrives,” Alfred shared.
“We humbly ask for your prayers for Yasmin’es and our little baby’s great perfect health and well-being.”
Yasmine is expected to give birth sometime in January. As early as now, Alfred is one proud husband of his wife’s fight.
“To the mother of my children (now four children!), Yasmine, I love you with all my heart. The world is a much better place with mighty mothers like you!”
The couple has two daughters and a son. Alfred was last seen in the afternoon drama AraBella on GMA.
