Parents raised in the 80s are in for a treat! Singer Debbie Gibson is returning to the Philippines this April as she celebrates 35 years of one of her biggest hits—”Electric Youth.” So mark your calendars! The concert is set to take place on April 26 at the New Frontier Theater.
“Thrilled to be heading back to Manila!” she announced on Instagram. “Are you ready to be ELECTRIFIED?!? I’m coming back to The Philippines for the ultimate ‘Newstalgic’ concert experience featuring songs from Electric Youth and beyond in honor of the 35th anniversary of my biggest international album!”

Debbie Gibson: An 80s pop icon
Debbie Gibson is considered one of the pop icons of the 80s—having started in the music industry at 16. Aside from “Electric Youth,” her other popular songs include “Foolish Beat,” “Only In My Dreams,” “Shake Your Love,” and “Lost In Your Eyes.”
Gibson would continue her career in the 90s and 2000s. She has 11 albums and has ventured into TV and film projects.
