Gateway Gallery Celebrates Museums and Galleries Month with an Art Fair
Gateway Gallery hosted an art fair last October 7 to 9. The fair showcased works of 11 art groups in the hope of reviving the industry after the pandemic.
Gateway Mall in Araneta City held an Art Fair last October 7 to 9 to showcase the works of 11 art groups in time for Museums and Galleries Month. These were displayed at the Gateway Activity Center.
The Gateway Gallery of the J. Amado Araneta Foundation organized the event. Students and parents took part and got a chance to see some of the works of the artists who were featured, too.
Getting Together for Museums and Galleries Month
The Art Fair featured 11 art groups whose works ranged from sculptures, paintings, and installations. The groups featured in the exhibit were Pahiyas Art Group, Philippine Pastel Artists, Inc., MakiSining Art Group, Law of Art-traction, KaSiBulan, Female Art Addicts, Daloy Likha, Angono Collective, Freedom Art Society, Animo Replica, and Alpha Camera Club.
Moreover, aside from the exhibit, representatives of the art groups did free demonstrations. These included thread art, mud art, and oil pastel. Some showed their talent at pet portraits and wood inlay art, too.
