Hugh Jackman Reminds People to Put Sunscreen and Gives Update on Biopsy

Hugh Jackman says he underwent more skin tests for possible skin cancer and reminds everyone to put on sunscreen when they go out.

Hugh Jackman posted an update about undergoing another biopsy for skin cancer. The Australian actor, who has two kids with his wife Deborah Lee Furness, said that he has yet to get an update from his doctor. But once again, he reminded his followers to protect themselves under the sun.

“If I just can take the opportunity to remind you that summer is coming for those in the Northern Hemisphere, please wear sunscreen,” the X-Men star said.

“It is just not worth it, no matter how much you want a tan, trust me, trust me. This stuff that happened 25 years ago, it’s coming out now. So, please put on some sunscreen.”

In the caption of the video, Hugh wrote: “I know you’ve heard me talk about my basal cell carcinomas before. I’m going to keep talking about them if need be. And if it reminds even one person to put on sunscreen with a high SPF, then I’m happy.”

Protection from the sun

This is not the first time Hugh Jackman wrote about his cell carcinomas condition. Back in 2013, the Les Miserables star had some skin removed upon the advice of his wife Deborah “to get the mark on my nose checked.”

Since then, the actor has been doing consistent checkups on his skin to make sure that he’s okay.

Hugh is currently wrapping up Deadpool 3 where he will reprise his role of Wolverine.
