Jennifer Lopez Shares Snaps from Her Wedding to Ben Affleck
In her newsletter, Jennifer Lopez gave some of her fans a peek into her and Ben Affleck’s wedding held in Georgia last month.
Following their wedding last month in Georgia, Jennifer Lopez gave her followers a peek into their special day held at Ben’s Georgian compound. Family and friends attended the special occasion.
The “On the Floor” singer first shared photos of her wedding gown that Ralph Lauren created. The designer made three looks for the big event.
“The dresses were dreamy. Thank you, Ralph Lauren,” she shared in her newsletter.

In her newsletter last September 2, Jennifer shared more photos of the wedding and recalled a movie line that Ben recited during their wedding vows.
‘This is heaven. Right Here. We’re in it now.’ That is one of my favorite lines that Ben wrote from a movie he directed called Live By Night. He also said it on the night of our wedding reception in his speech. And I thought…how perfect,” she said.
While everyone was worried about the weather, Jennifer mentioned that she was calm. “All week I felt the calm and easy certainty that we were in God’s hands.”
“At six forty-five, Saturday, August twentieth, the sun broke free and cast its rays like little diamonds dancing across the river behind the makeshift altar in our backyard. The sky was clear blue, and distant clouds of pure white held fast in the sky. As the sun set behind the live oaks draped in Spanish moss, a warm breeze swept over the lawn where our closest family and friends sat. And, at long last, I started my walk down the stairs that would become the aisle that would lead me toward the rest of my life. Ahhhhh…it was actually happening.”
The Road to Happiness
Both Jennifer and Ben have been married and have kids from their previous relationships. Reflecting on their respective journeys, Jennifer wrote: “The truth is everyone’s story is different. And we all have our paths to travel. No two people are the same. But for us, this was perfect timing. Nothing ever felt more right to me, and I knew we were finally “settling down” in a way you can only do when you understand loss and joy and you are battle tested enough to never take the important things for granted or let the silly insignificant nuisances of the day get in the way of embracing every precious moment.”
“We find ourselves in that long-desired time of life: having gratitude for all that life has shown us, even its trials and tribulations. That night really was heaven.”
She ended her newsletter by saying: “Years ago, we had no idea the road ahead would mean navigating so many labyrinths and hold so many surprises, blessings, and delights. It all culminated at this moment, one of the most perfect of our lives. We couldn’t have been happier. I wish all of you the same kind of happiness. The hard-earned kind that’s all the sweeter for the journey that came before it.”
A second chance at love
It was in 2021 when the couple confirmed they were back together. In July, Jennifer confirmed the news that they got married in Las Vegas. Their kids were witnesses to the event.
Dubbed Bennifer by the media, Jennifer and Ben’s relationship has been the subject of scrutiny for years since they met back while doing the movie Gigli. The two got engaged in 2002 and were about to get married in 2003 before postponing it and later calling off the engagement in 2004.
Both had high-profile relationships before getting back together. Ben has three kids with actress Jennifer Garner while Jennifer has kids with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
