LIST: Christmas 2024 Displays for Families Will Love

Here are Christmas displays we can see or use as backdrops in 2024!

As Halloween comes to a close, Christmas 2024 is now around the corner. Unfortunately, with living spaces being slightly smaller and Christmas decor too exhausting to put out and store, some parents may have opted for simpler decorations. So some families do instead venture out to lifestyle spaces with grand Christmas displays that their kids can enjoy and take photos with. Here are some of the Christmas displays so far:

1. Grand Christmas Tree at Opus Mall

Nothing screams Christmas 2024 like a gigantic Christmas tree display in the middle of the mall. Although Opus Mall caters to many of the professionals in the BPO industry, many of those professionals have families of their own who want to hang around. Currently, their theme for Christmas 2024 is red and gold!

2. Winter Wonderland in Rustan’s

Rustan’s has always been home to one of the most timeless Christmas displays. In Shangri-La Rustan’s, there’s a small display on the ground floor with a classic red Chevy truck that families can take a picture with. They also have small set-ups in different corners of the Rustan’s department store.

3. 2024 Ayala Triangle Gardens Festival of Lights

Also known as the “Christmas Nights with Countless Lights,” families who want an alfresco-like scene for Christmas displays this 2024 can head over to the Ayala Triangle. The best part is, that the admission is free — families can either commute there or park nearby in the open space parking for PHP50.00 for the first three hours. Family-friendly restaurants are also nearby so we can admire the lights while having dinner!

According to their Facebook page, the celebrations start this coming November 6, 2024.

4. Merry Magical at Estancia

Starting November 4, 2024, Estancia Mall will transform into a modern Christmas village. With lit-up pathways, food bazaars, and even a musical tunnel, there’s a lot for the family to enjoy for Christmas displays. The Christmas food bazaar will be held at two spots: Capital Commons Park (Friday to Sunday) and Central Avenue (Thursday to Sunday).

The Illuminated Paths and the Lighted Musical Tunnel will be available, starting at 6 PM.

5. Golden and Pink Tree at Podium Mall

Christmas 2024 will be coming in different colors and at Podium Mall, they have a big, bright, golden Christmas tree at the entrance. Compared to the usual, Podium Mall goes all out with even gold decorations suspended from the ceiling. From lanterns and blinking lights, it’ll be a golden display to end the year!

6. Paskong Pinoy at SM Mall of Asia

Opened on October 17, 2024, with SB19 Stell and the Philharmonic Orchestra’s heartwarming performance, SM Mall of Asia has a towering Christmas tree that can be seen from the food court. It is adorned with other Filipino Christmas elements. Santa even has a kalesa with a white horse and the beloved classic “dirty ice cream” cart.

7. Shangri-La’s Floating Christmas Tree

While most Christmas Displays are on the ground, Shangri-La decides to suspend their Christmas Tree from the air, leaving their events area below open for any Christmas bazaars that families can enjoy. The whole mall appears to be in a festive mood with some of the walls adorned with Christmas lights.

8. SM Aura’s Golden Christmas Display

As one of the biggest lifestyle malls within BGC, SM Aura continues to be a family-friendly spot with its golden Christmas display. While it does have the grand Christmas tree in the middle, the stairs and the drop-off entrance also have photo-worthy backdrops for the family to take a decent Christmas photo with.

Christmas 2024 Displays: And the list continues to grow!

As one of the most widely celebrated holidays in the Philippines, the holidays will always have different depictions and decorations depending on where it’s being celebrated. Some may like a minimalist Christmas display; others may have a grand one. But each Christmas celebration, as most families believe, will always be different than the last. Some old faces may not join but there are new faces to welcome too! As Christmas 2024 goes into full swing, so will the list of the many displays for families to enjoy.
