Titas and Moms, ICYMI: Martin Nievera Celebrates 40 Years with a Concert

Hailed in the Philippines as the “Concert King”, Martin Nievera is teasing a concert.

Celebrating 40 years in the industry, Concert King Martin Nievera is having a concert on August 28, 2022, at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Titled “M4D”, the concert will most likely be covering a lot of his old songs.

He’s taking requests!

On his Instagram, not long after the invite, the Concert King asked his fans to make some requests for some of his old songs. “I was wondering if you have any song requests. You can send it on my IG, my Facebook, whichever — especially for the many staying here in America,” shares Martin.

Martin Nievera mentioned that he’ll also be joined by a few other big names in the industry. According to an interview, he’ll be singing “a good percentage” of his original songs. Songs such as “Chasing Time”, and “What’s On The Other Side” may make it to the playlist. He might even be singing his rendition of Jeffrey Osborne’s “On The Wings of Love”.

Currently, a list of where to buy tickets is already available on the concert’s FB page. There are some available on the LAPhil website as well.

A part of the proceeds of the concert will be going to charity. It’s a perfectly good reason to go on a nostalgia trip and watch this memorable Philippine pop icon.
