Minions: The Rise of Gru: Here’s What To Expect!

The adorable babbling yellow minions Stuart, Kevin, Bob, and Otto all join forces with Gru. And they show how he became a villain.

While Steve Carell did an amazing job as Gru in playing both a villain and a dad to Margo, Edith, and Agnes, we wonder what the man was like before becoming a villain, a father, and an agent. The story begins with the minions Stuart, Kevin, Bob, and Otto meeting up with Gru as a 12-year-old. With the four desperate to please, they quickly help 12-year-old Gru in building his evil lair in the newest Minions: The Rise of Gru movie.

Lots of family humor to go around

Everyone knows what it’s like to idolize a particular group. In Minions: The Rise of Gru, Gru’s just the same! And in their tweens, their desire gets stronger. A 12-year-old Gru imagines himself joining the Vicious 6. He’s particularly a big fanboy of one of the members: Wild Knuckles, voiced by Oscar Award Winner Alan Arkin. Unfortunately, joining them doesn’t play out the way it should. Gru not only becomes a part of their group but also becomes their worst enemy after outsmarting them.

But who needs villains like that when the Minions teach themselves the art of Kung Fu, to protect their new and young overlord? Just like its usual flair, Minions: The Rise of Gru will definitely have a lot of hilarious and crazy moments your kids will be laughing about for a while.
