Seven months postpartum, CLOY Star Son Ye Jin catches eyes at fashion week.

Even when we feel at our worst during the postpartum period, sometimes we moms find ways to rock it. And just recently, at the Valentino Haute Couture Show, CLOY star Son Ye Jin attended and slayed the look. Coordinating a pair of black dress shorts and an oversized black blazer, Son Ye Jin also rocked a tucked white button-up shirt with black floral patterns to match her thin black tie. She finished the ensemble with a pair of shiny black booties.

This has been Son Ye Jin’s first fashion week appearance seven months after giving birth to her son. She also became the Italian brand’s ambassador back in 2021. Fans have also noticed that her look in the fashion week paid tribute to her character — Yoon Se-Ri!

Returning to work?

According to multiple Korean news stations, the celebrity mom planned to return to work five months after giving birth. Her agency, MS Team, revealed that giving birth has made Son Ye Jin more health conscious.

Becoming a mother can make women more conscious about their health. Their lifestyle sometimes takes a 180-degree flip from eating more greens, exercising more often, and sometimes even investing in more personal care products. Pregnancy leaves that gift of a heightened sense of self-awareness because, for the last nine months, we were taking care of two lives.

Owning the Postpartum Look

Although it’s a little hard at first to accept the body that pregnancy left us with, especially when people look great on social media, it all starts with baby steps of trying to find a fashion style that fits the new you. While we may not bounce back as fast as some celebrities, what matters is we put effort into taking that first step in balancing the image of the woman we used to be and the mom we are now.
