PHOTOS: All the Parents Who Attended the Vogue Philippines Gala 2023
Several personalities took time off to celebrate Vogue Philippines’ 1st anniversary during their Gala Night at Shangri-La at the Fort.
Vogue Philippines just turned one, and to celebrate the occasion, the Vogue Gala 2023 took place at Shangri-La the Fort last August 29. Some of the country’s most prominent figures, including parents, attended and looked dazzling in sophisticated black and white ensembles.

Some celebrities spotted include Anne Curtis, Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho, Sarah Lahbati-Gutierrez, Paolo Abrera and Suzi Entrata, Max Collins, Sofia Andres, and Dr. Aivee Teo.
Also seen partying the night were Bianca Gonzalez and JC Intal and Charlene Gonzalez and Aga Muhlach with their twins Andres and Atasha.
Actress Dolly de Leon also took time off from her busy schedule to be present.

A highlight of the celebration was the release of the September 2023 issue. They shot a portion of the September issue in Batanes.
“Our main fashion story, Origins, was shot in Batanes, the northernmost province in the Philippines. Here we explored a fashion story rooted in craft, through reworked vintage and upcycling, with fashion-forward pieces from emerging designers and established global brands,” Vogue Philippines editor-in-chief Bea Valdes shared.
“In the northern highlands, we weave a story on high craft and handmade. We revisit and reinforce the heritage of our fashion identity which is rooted in the artisanal,” says Fashion Director Pam Quiñones. “This story is an invitation to rethink fashion, to go back to the past to see our future.”
Common Threads: Re/Creating Fashion
Aside from the cover launch, a highlight of the gala was the art and fashion exhibit. They titled this as “Common Threads: Re/Creating Fashion.” The exhibit showcases the connection between culture and identity, heritage, and modernity.
It also featured several installations and displays, each exploring a different facet of the Vogue experience.
Chef Margarita Fores, along with Shangri-La the Fort’s Chef Joris Rycken and Chef Carlo Huerta, treated guests at the gala to a sumptuous meal. The meal showed the flavors of the country’s islands, showcasing the diverse heritage of a nation.
Indeed, it has been a whirlwind journey for Vogue Philippines!
