Regine Velasquez Formally Joins Magandang Buhay as Co-Host
After serving as a guest co-host early this year, Regine Velasquez replaces Karla Estrada as part of the morning show.
Singer, songwriter, and mother Regine Velasquez is now officially part of Magandang Buhay. On Monday, August 8, she was welcomed to the Magandang Buhay family as its third official host alongside fellow moms Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros.
The announcement coincided with the show’s 6th anniversary. Regine was also formally welcomed by Jolina and Melai. She thanked Karla Estrada who was originally part of the show as well as the staff.
“Actually kinakabahan ako kahit ilan beses ko na dito,” she said. “I’m excited but a little nervous. I don’t know why. Pero s’yempre kasama iyo kung host ka you have certain responsibilities. But I’m happy, I’m very happy to finally be part of Magandang Buhay.”

Making it official
Regine substituted for Karla early this year after she took a leave to run under a partylist. She then left the show to do a series of concerts with Sharon Cuneta. During her absence, actress, and mom Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo pitched in as guest co-host.
Karla formally bid goodbye to the show after being with them for six years. She said that despite not getting a position in the House of Representatives, she has obligations with the party list that she wants to focus on.
“I will miss the good five years, mga momshieee!
Magandang Buhay kicked off its 6th year anniversary with the appearance of Darna star Jane de Leon. The show will replace FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano on August 15.
