Actors Ronnie Alonte and Loisa Andalio have officially stepped into parenthood.
On Thursday, March 12, Ronnie shared a first glimpse of their newborn daughter, Runi Lior, in a heartfelt Instagram post. The photo revealed part of the baby’s face along with her initials.
“Meet our Nili,” Ronnie captioned the image, introducing their little one to friends and fans.
Soon after, messages of love and congratulations poured in from fellow celebrities and close friends who have followed the couple’s journey through the years.
Humbling journey
On Sunday, March 15, Loisa posted photos of her and Roni holding their daughter. The experience, she said, has humbled them.
“It taught us to slow down, to trust the process, and to trust in God’s perfect timing. Every little kick and every tiny heartbeat reminded us that a beautiful life was growing inside — a love we were so close to finally meeting, holding in our arms, and cherishing for the rest of our lives,” she wrote.
Loisa said that even before they met Runi, they already felt the love and that no words can describe the feeling of holding her.
“Three days into motherhood, and I am already feeling emotions I cannot even put into words….overwhelming love, gratitude, awe, and even a little fear because this love is so big. To all the mothers out there, I see you, and I honor you. Now I understand the strength, sacrifice, and unconditional love that come with being a mom.”
She also praised Ronnie for being her constant support, saying that he’s already showing the father he is meant to be.
“You held my hand through every moment, and I could not have done this without you. Walking through this journey with you made me love you even more deeply. Seeing you become a father is one of the most beautiful things I have ever witnessed.”
She tells Nili: ” You are the most beautiful gift God has given us. We promise to love you endlessly, protect you, guide you, and pray for you every single day. We promise to give you a life filled with love, faith, and beautiful memories, and a home where you will always feel safe and deeply loved.”
A baby girl
Before welcoming Runi, Ronnie and Loisa celebrated their growing family with a gender reveal attended by close friends and relatives. It was during this moment that the couple shared they were expecting a baby girl.
Ronnie later explained the sweet and slightly playful story behind their daughter’s name.
“Kaya Runi yan kasi akala ko noong una lalaki talaga kasi kapag lalaki is Ronnie. Eh naging babae kaya Runi na lang,” he shared.
The couple tied the knot in Baguio in 2024 and announced they were expecting their first child during Christmas that same year—making the holiday season even more meaningful for their growing family.
Now, with baby Runi Lior in their arms, Ronnie and Loisa begin what many parents say is the most transformative role of all.
