PHOTOS: Celebrity Kids in Their 2022 Filipiniana Outfits

As Buwan ng Wika closed last August, here’s a quick roundup of celebrity kids looking cute in their Filipiniana outfits.

Buwan ng Wika is when parents get the chance to bust out their barongs, baro’t saya, and other Filipiniana outfits. Some celebrity parents even paid homage to the heroes of the past and other parts of the Philippines. To close Buwan ng Wika last August, here are celebrity kids looking good in their Filipiniana outfits.

Luna Agoncillo

Red has always been one of the main colors for Buwan ng Wika. Thus, Luna Agoncillo sported the traditional red tartan skirt and white butterfly-sleeved top for her Filipiniana.

Sixto Dantes

Sixto Dantes broke hearts with his interpretation of Cebu’s beloved hero: Lapu-Lapu. Or as he says it, “Yapu-Yapu”.

Amelia Reyes

When Rewear is the theme, Amelia glammed up in her sister’s gold Filipiniana kiddie gown.

Vito Bacarro

Although more for his graduation, Vito looked dashing in his Filipiniana outfit. His orange sash with Baybayin text embroidered worked well with his white top and khaki pants.

Scarlet Snow Belo

As a representative of the Philippines during her school’s International Day, Scarlet Snow Belo sported a bright yellow baro’t saya combination with blue checkered stripes.

It was a happy Buwan ng Wika!

Buwan ng Wika is a month when everyone can celebrate being Filipino. It also opens the doors to trying new food, new languages, and even visiting other parts of the Philippines! It’s probably one of those months when we allow ourselves a bit of kakanin or other Filipino delicacies. Most of all, it’s cute to see these celebrity kids sporting Filipiniana outfits. Besides, love for the country doesn’t happen overnight. Start them early!
