7 David Pomeranz Songs To Listen To While Waiting For His Concert

David Pomeranz has been a favorite among us for easy listening or ballad love songs. While we’re shopping in malls or even eating in restaurants, his music always adds a festive spring and swoon to our steps. And for those who are big fans, rejoice: he’s coming to the Philippines this December 8, 2023, to celebrate his 40th anniversary! So while we’re waiting, here are seven of David Pomeranz’s songs we can listen to.

Got To Believe In Magic

From his album Zapped in 1982, David Pomeranz’s song Got To Believe in Magic filled the air even more when the beloved love team KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla) released their rendition in 2013.

Born For You

As one of his more popular singles, David Pomeranz released Born For You in 1992. It’s a love song that reflects the classic and timeless idea about love, “You complete me.”

Its fame further spread in the Philippines with a teleserye sharing its namesake came out, starring Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona.

It was also a song that moved David himself to tears when he heard his audience in Cebu sing alongside him in 2014, making his Christmas vacation with his wife in the Philippines even more memorable.

King and Queen Of Hearts

As a beloved prom song, King and Queen Of Hearts was always the song that opened up the dance floor for us to dance with our dates. Although some of us didn’t end up with our dates in the end, we have to admit that David Pomeranz’s song always made that slow dance moment dreamy.

If You Walked Away

Filipinos love their hugot and David Pomeranz’s If You Walked Away earned their hearts even more when celebrity mom of four Sharon Cuneta sang alongside him.

The Old Songs

Since The Old Songs is a karaoke favorite, we’re sure that David Pomeranz will have a crowd singing with him in his 40th anniversary concert. That’s the biggest compliment a musician can get!

Undying Admiration

Another karaoke favorite. We hope that this one is also making it into David Pomeranz’s concert playlist. But he also performed this song before in a small gathering at the lobby of Robinson’s Magnolia mall.

A Personal Touch

A song of comfort in hard times, this David Pomeranz song soothes those who’ve come from a hard relationship and are still trying to figure themselves out. After all, it’s not easy to trust someone’s intentions again after years of abuse.
