In an Instagram post, Richard Gomez paid tribute to his wife Lucy Torres as they mark 26 years of togetherness.
Twenty-six years since their “I Do,” Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres continue to be one of showbiz’s power couples. As the two celebrate their 26th anniversary, the Congressman of Leyte commemorates the moment with a sweet Instagram post for his wife who is currently Ormoc’s mayor.
“My heart overflows with joy and gratitude for the love we share, Lucy my love,” he writes on April 29. ” It feels as though our journey together has only just begun, filled with countless cherished and beautiful memories of laughter, joy, and pure happiness.”
The actor and politician also adds that his wife’s understanding nature has kept him and their daughter Juliana grounded amidst challenges and triumphed.
“Every night, as I lay down to sleep, I find myself whispering and talking to the heavens, thanking the Lord for the incredible blessing of having you by my side,” he continues. “Each morning, as I awake, I always look at you while you sleep, my first thought is a prayer of gratitude for the gift of your love in my life.”
He ends his post by saying he’s looking forward to being with her always.
“Here’s to many more years of growing, learning, and loving together. I love you beyond words.”
