Zsa Zsa Padilla On Spending Time With Her Daughters

Zsa Zsa’s children are all married, and she has been trying to spend more time with Karylle and Zia since they moved to Manila. Her other daughter, Coco, is based in the United States.

Kami na lang nila Karylle and Zia [nandito]. Si Karylle talaga yung pinakamakulit sa akin. Siya yung ‘mama what are you doing?’ Mama, I’m gonna call you.’ Siya yung [kasama ko] almost every day,” she shared to the press during the media conference on April 28.

“She makes sure that all my needs are met. Siguro kasi siya yung ate.”

Her concert falls after Mother’s Day and will serve as a post celebration for Zsa Zsa and her two daughters.

“I always make it a point na pagkasama ko yung dalawa, Mother’s Day na din,” she beamed.

She hinted at special numbers with her daughters during the concert. While she declined to say the songs she will be performing with her daughters, she hopes the audience will love the renditions.
“I think this [song] will be fitting. Even the youth loves this song. It’s a remake. I think it’s perfect for us three.”

Zia’s Return to Music And Recording With Her

With Zia being part of the concert, Zsa Zsa shared that Zia is returning to music and has already started recording, including back-up vocals for Zsa Zsa’s new album.

“ Last year, when she wasn’t active yet, sabi sa akin nung producer ko na si Jonathan Manalo, ‘ I really wanted Zia to do this one,’” about the song they recorded.

Zsa Zsa said she requested a song about empty nesting since her kids are no longer with her at home.

Lahat ng anak may asawa na. Wala na sa poder mo. So nakakamiss. Gusto ko i-explore yung possibility na ano ba ang nararamdaman ng mga nag empty nest na magulang. Ano ba ang nararamdaman ng mga anak pag umaalis sila.

As she recorded the song called “Never Be Alone”, Zsa Zsa said she felt the emotions. “ Naiyak din ako kasi ganun pala yung feeling – na hindi ganun kadali.”

Nevertheless, the song, she said, teaches parents that despite the independence, they will always be together.

“ You’ll never be alone because, in your heart, your family is always there,“ Zsa Zsa shared.
