Winwyn Marquez has worn many hats over the years: multi-hyphenate actress, Reina Hispanoamericana titleholder, and now, a devoted mother to her four-year-old daughter, Luna. Never one to stay inside her comfort zone, Winwyn is giving herself another push—this time as an official Pinoy Big Brother housemate.

On Saturday, October 24, Winwyn was officially revealed as part of the latest cross-network collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA 7. Titled Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition Collab 3.0, the season brings together a dynamic mix of celebrity housemates and regulars under Kuya’s roof.

The “Reyna Mama” of Parañaque

Introduced as the “Reyna Mama of Parañaque,” Winwyn opened up about her background, sharing how growing up in a prominent showbiz family shaped her drive to succeed on her own terms.

“Being part of a well-known showbiz family, I really worked hard to make a name for myself and to build my own identity,” Winwyn shared. “From acting to pageantry, I’ve always been open to new opportunities and challenges. Pero sa lahat ng naging role ko, being a partner and a mom to my four-year-old daughter Luna will always be my favorite.”

Embracing a New Chapter

Having navigated various life chapters—as a daughter, artist, beauty queen, and parent—Winwyn sees her entry into the PBB house as a chance to grow even further and reconnect with herself.

“Ready na ako na mas makilala ang sarili ko and to show a different side of myself sa bahay ni Kuya,” she said.

Stepping into the house also marks a major milestone for Winwyn as a mother: it will be her first time being away from Luna for an extended period. Fellow mom and PBB host Bianca Gonzalez offered words of encouragement as she made her entry.
