Our Kids Can Go to Enchanted Kingdom Starting November 6!

Enchanted Kingdom’s always been our favorite amusement park and with it opening on November 6, here are some precautions we need to take against COVID-19 for our kids while there.

Enchanted Kingdom has played a big role in a lot of our childhoods and our kids‘. From the heart-stopping Space Shuttle to the breezy Flying Fiesta, Enchanted Kingdom has always provided us and our families with some good memories. Since the lockdown, however, they’ve been quite mum about their operations. Now that they’re reopening again, we’d like to bring our kids to the place that gave us good memories. But before you go, here are some precautions to take before heading to our favorite amusement park.

Things to Remember Before Heading to Enchanted Kingdom

1. Organizing your kids’ itinerary in Enchanted Kingdom

We’re all excited to have our kids experience the magic of Enchanted Kingdom that the number of rides can be overwhelming. What some of us can do is estimate how long a certain ride can be. Log Jams can take around 3-5 minutes with the Flying Fiesta being more or less 5-7 minutes. That’s not including the time spent waiting in line for the ride. The bigger rides like the Merry Go Round also might have a long line but since it can hold a lot of people, it might be faster than the Bumper Cars or the Rio Grande.

2. Bring your own water and utensils

We’re not taking any chances when we bring our kids to Enchanted Kingdom since a lot of families are thinking like we are and some of them might not be vaccinated. Bringing our own utensils and water is one way to keep the possibility of getting hit by COVID-19 to a minimum. Bring wooden ones instead of plastic ones to keep our wastes minimal and our trip sustainable. Although we want to keep COVID-19 away from our kids, do so sustainably and at zero waste.

3. Be aware of the curfew

Enchanted Kingdom, being in Laguna, means that their curfew might be different from the one in NCR. Although Laguna’s considered part of NCR+, their LGU might be functioning otherwise. It would also mean that the lockdown levels might be different so if CALABARZON is on Lockdown Level 2, your kids can go to Enchanted Kingdom with no issues. If you’re coming from NCR which is still on Lockdown Level 3, you’ll have to make sure your kids stay in the car.

4. Don’t forget to buy a souvenir!

We’re not sure when we’ll be able to whisk our kids off again to Enchanted Kingdom. Before you head out, make sure you grab a souvenir either from one of the smaller games or even at their novelty shop. It’s a little piece of magic that your kids might want to bring home after being trapped in the house due to this pandemic situation.

5. Most of all, don’t forget to have fun!

While it’s our default to worry, we need to balance it in letting our kids have fun. Our vigilance just needs to be a little more subtle so that our kids can take home the magic they find in Enchanted Kingdom. Make sure you get to reserve some tickets and block off one whole day before you go. Like we all know, time flies when we’re having fun. You can reserve or buy your tickets on their website or check them out on their Facebook before you head out.
