Captain America’s a dad! Chris Evans and his wife, Alba Baptista, have welcomed their first child — a baby girl named Alma Grace — according to multiple reports.

TMZ first broke the news, citing sources close to the couple.

Private family life

Chris, who has starred in several films, including the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise as Captain America, has always been private about his personal life. It wasn’t until 2022 that he was linked to Alba, a Portuguese actress, when reports of their relationship first surfaced.

In September 2023, the couple married in a private ceremony in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. In an interview with People, the actor opened up about starting a family in the future.

“That’s absolutely something I want: wife, kids, building a family,” he said at the time.

In 2024, while promoting the movie Red One, he was asked by Access Hollywood if he ever saw himself as a “superhero dad,” like his co-star Dwayne Johnson.

“Yeah, I hope so. Yeah, absolutely,” he responded. “The title of dad is an exciting one.”

Chris and Alba made their red carpet debut at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, months after their wedding.
