Diego Castro Finally Marries Longtime Partner Angela Lagunzad
Broadcasters Diego Castro and Angela Lagunzad tied the knot in a simple garden wedding after being together for 20 years.
One News anchor Diego Castro and his longtime partner, news anchor Angela Lagunzad married before friends and family in a simple garden wedding. On May 16, the couple posted some pictures from the wedding held at the House of XO.
“Sa Wakas! After 20 years I married my true love @angelalagunzad . We may [be] different in many ways, but the differences make us perfect. You are the calm to my chaos, the yin to my yang,” Diego wrote.
In her post, Angela wrote of the wedding: “To my lobster, the Ross to my Rachel @diegokcastro.”
Broadcaster Julius Babao also gave a peek into the wedding ceremony of the couple.
Diego’s family life
Diego Castro and Angela Lagunzad currently work as news anchors for One News, the subsidiary news channel of TV 5. The couple are parents to three kids, two of them from Diego’s past relationships.
Before becoming a broadcaster just like his parents Angelo Castro Jr. and June Keithley, Diego started his career as an actor, appearing in shows such as GIMIK, Esperanza, and Basta’t Kasama Kita. He eventually transitioned to broadcasting via the UNTV show Good Morning Kuya before switching to One News.
Diego is also a grandfather to Scott Domagoso, the son of his daughter Rafa with actor Joaquin Domagso.
