Emman Atienza Passes Away at 19 Years Old
Remembered as someone vibrant, many mourn the loss of 19-year-old rising influencer Emman Atienza
In a joint Instagram post, TV Host Kim Atienza and his family reveal that their youngest, rising influencer Emman Atienza, passed away unexpectedly at 19 years old. As of now, the family has not disclosed the cause.
“She brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives and into the lives of everyone who knew her. Emman had a way of making people feel seen and heard, and she wasn’t afraid to share her own journey with mental health. Her authenticity helped so many feel less alone,” writes the family.
She joined the influencer group GMA’s Status by Sparkle in 2024. On TikTok, she had garnered over 818,900 followers. Her Instagram has over 205,000 followers.

Who is Emman Atienza?
In an interview with ABS-CBN in December 2024, Kim Atienza shared how Emman wasn’t one to shy away from sharing her advocacies on her social media channels.
“Pero ‘yung anak ko, iba, matapang. Ganoon ‘ata ang Gen Z. They engage. Iba si Emman, the youngest. Kapag nagpo-post ‘yun, kinakabahan na ako pero patok siya eh,” Kuya Kim admitted during that interview.
Mental health was one of the many advocacies she had. Emman had opened up about her battle with anorexia nervosa—a mental health disorder described as an “emotional disorder characterized by an obsessive desire to lose weight by refusing to eat,” posting an entry from her diary with her dad reposting it last July 24, 2022.
“I’m not going to lie, after properly dieting and losing an increasingly high amount of weight, I became obsessive over my calories. I would sometimes eat much less than a healthy body needs to survive. I became so obsessive that others became concerned about my own health, and my daily functioning was at stake,” Emman shared.
Outgoing and vibrant, Emman loved capturing the moment and animals. Her many posts on Instagram show her either interacting with the family’s dogs or trying out new things.

Remembering Emman: A Light That Lives On
Though her time on earth was far too short, Emman Atienza’s light continues to ripple through the countless lives she touched.
And for her family, friends, and followers, Emman will forever be remembered not just as Kim Atienza’s daughter, but as a brave young woman who dared to live and love out loud.
“To honor Emman’s memory, we hope you carry forward the qualities she lived by: compassion, courage, and a little extra kindness in your everyday life,” writes the family.
Emman is survived by her parents, TV Host Kim Atienza and Philippine Eagle Foundation president Felicia Hung Atienza. She also has two siblings: Jose and Eliana.
Our deepest condolences to her family. Losing a child is the most painful thing a parent can go through.
