Actress Emmy Rossum recently announced that she and her husband, producer Sam Esmali, welcomed a son last April 5.
“On a foggy Wednesday morning, our son was born,” she captioned on Instagram with photos of her baby bump, the baby, and the chart.
The Phantom of the Opera star’s announcement comes as a surprise as she kept her pregnancy away from the public.
Not the first time
This is not the first time Emmy Rossum and Sam Esmali pulled off the announcement. In 2021, the couple also announced the birth of their now 22-month-old daughter. The birth of Emmy Rossum’s son officially makes her a mother of two under two!
Emmy is known for being private about her family life but shared a photo of her and her daughter last year during Mother’s Day.
Sam and Emmy first met when he directed her in the romantic comedy Comet. The couple tied the knot in 2017.
