The actress’ representative confirmed that she is pregnant with her second child with her husband Cooke Maroney

Jennifer Lawrence is expecting baby number 2. A representative for the Hunger Games star confirmed to Vogue that she is pregnant. She was also photographed in Los Angeles, her baby bump visible in a white shirt, as she dined with her husband, Cooke Maroney.

The baby joins the couple’s son Cy whom they welcomed two years ago. Jennifer and Cooke married in 2019.

What the actress has been up to?

The pregnancy comes as Jennifer promotes the documentary Zurawski v Texas, which tackles strict abortion laws in Texas, which she co-produced alongside former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The Silver Linings Playbook actress is also set to promote another documentary she co-produced – Bread & Roses, the story of Afghan women alongside Malala Yousafzai and wrapped a movie starring Robert Pattinson.

Lawrence has been focused on producing documentaries on women’s issues, which she is passionate about following the Supreme Court’s decision on Roe vs Wade. In an interview with Vogue in 2022, she said of the issue: ” “I’ve tried to get over it and I really can’t. I can’t. I’m sorry I’m just unleashing, but I can’t fuck with people who aren’t political anymore. You live in the United States of America. You have to be political. It’s too dire. Politics are killing people.”

Abortion rights is one of the topics that has been discussed as the US heads for the presidential elections happening November 5.
