Joe Jonas Files Divorce from Sophie Turner

The love bug is over between Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. On Wednesday, September 6, Joe filed for divorce from the Game of Thrones star in Florida according to several US reports.
According to the documents obtained, it said that “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.” The couple share two daughters who are 3 years old and 14 months old, who they welcomed in 2022.
Hours after the news broke out, Joe shared a joint statement from the two of them.
“After four wonderful years of marriage, we have decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and for our children.
Signs of trouble?
News of the breakup has been circulating for several days now. Earlier reports indicated that Joe had hired a divorce lawyer, even though he was still wearing his wedding band.
Joe and Sophie first got to meet each other in 2016 when they started messaging each other on Instagram. In 2017, they confirmed that they were dating and announced their engagement.
The two first tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony on May 1, 2019. A bigger wedding in France happened the following month.
Most recently, Joe and his other brothers, Kevin and Nick, have been touring the US.
