How McCoy de Leon Introduced Daughter Felize to the Black Nazarene
McCoy de Leon shared on his social media how he has been introducing his daughter Felize to Black Nazarene.
Millions of devotees of the Black Nazarene celebrated the annual procession last January 9 in Manila as it made its way to Quiapo Church. One of the devotees was McCoy de Leon, who shared some photos of his experience this year as he tried to get near the statue.
On Instagram, he wrote: ” Nasaan na siya (Poong Nazareno)?
Viva Poong Nazareno!“
One of the photos includes McCoy and his daughter Felize, who was wearing yellow Nazareno shirts, alongside a video showing them waving the handkerchiefs, saying “Viva Nazareno!”
Other Celebrities Who are Black Nazarene Devotees
It’s not only McCoy who is a devotee of the Black Nazarene. Angeline Quinto and her partner Nonrev Daquina were spotted at Quiapo Church, where they attended a mass.
Radio and TV broadcaster Noli de Castro is also a devotee of the Black Nazarene. Since returning to news anchoring, he has been present in all coverages of the Black Nazarene. Other devotees of the Black Nazarene include Coco Martin and Giselle Sanchez.
