Meet Baby Clara: Jinkee Pacquiao Embraces Her New Role as “Mamita”
Clara is the daughter of Jinkee and Manny Pacquiao’s eldest son, Jimuel, and his partner, Carolina
Ask any mother what it feels like to welcome a grandchild, and you’ll often hear the same thing: it’s a love that expands the heart in unexpected ways. That’s exactly what Jinkee Pacquiao experienced when her eldest son, Jimuel, and his partner, Carolina, welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Clara, in the US last week.
The couple is based in Los Angeles, where Jinkee and her husband, boxing champion and former senator Manny Pacquiao, also maintain a home.
Jinkee shared photos of Jimuel and newborn Clara from the hospital, simply captioned: “Lord, thank you.”

The following day, she posted another set of photos—this time of Clara alone—introducing her to the world with the caption: “Hello, Universe! My name is Clara.”

A “Mamita” Moment
Since Clara’s arrival, Jinkee has been reveling in her role as a first-time grandmother—or “mamita,” as she calls herself. On Facebook, she posted two videos featuring the new family.
“From Ms. U to Mamita real quick,” she joked, referring to the recent Miss Universe competition in Thailand, where she was compared to the new winner, Fatima Bosch of Mexico.
Another video carried the caption: “Our hearts are bursting with love.”
A New Chapter for the Pacquiaos
Back in October, Jinkee revealed that she and Manny were set to become grandparents. In a heartfelt post, she reflected on her journey as a mother—from holding baby Jimuel for the first time to watching him step into fatherhood.
“The day I became your mother, my world changed instantly. It marked the start of a new version of myself, one that is tender, tired, and transformed,” wrote on October 14.
She added, “Time flies so fast. Ikaw ang karga-karga (carry) ko noon; sa susunod na buwan, ang apo ko naman ang kakargahin ko.”
Jinkee and Manny flew to the US to be with the couple ahead of the birth. They attended a baby shower and were later spotted shopping with Jimuel for baby essentials—moments that clearly delighted the soon-to-be grandparents.
Embracing Her First Grandchild
Now that Clara is here, Jinkee is savoring every moment. Like many first-time grandmothers, she intends to spend as much time as she can with her granddaughter.
As a mom to five children, her heart has only grown fuller—this time, with a new kind of love meant not just for her son and daughter-in-law, but for little Clara, too, as she supports the new parents through their journey.
