Modern Parenting’s The 100 List

JENNIE FRANCISCO DIAZ

As the medical director of Skin 101 and a board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Jennie is dedicated to making quality skincare accessible to every Filipino. At home, her priority is being an active, present parent to her son Gonzo, 13. She strengthens their bond by being genuinely curious about his world, celebrating his milestones (big or small), and planning family adventures that create lasting memories together.

JILL TAN

Jill is an entrepreneur and the co-founder of JG Superstore, an online mecca for all things tech with a mission to empower Filipino content creators and creatives. The mom-of-3 believes in spending a lot of quality time and doing fun activities with her kids Seb, 6, Arthur, 4, and Becca, 1, like playing, swimming, or simply enjoying their favorite snacks, while making sure they feel truly loved.

JOSH AND JERALDINE BLACKMAN

Jeraldine and her Australian husband Joshua, from the TikTok-famous Blackman Family, were nurses before becoming full-time content creators—widely beloved for their funny and relatable videos with kids Nimo, 6, and Jette, 4. Their humorous demeanor aside, this couple is serious about being dedicated parents who value open, honest, and positive communication in their relationship with their children.

JOY CORTEZ DAUZ

As marketing manager for iconic jelly footwear brand Melissa PH, Joy is always on her feet. But she remains a dedicated mom to her kids Dylan Casey, 14, and Madison Jane, 10. Her non-negotiables include allotting 3 to 4 hours daily to engage with them, guide them in schoolwork, and get to know their likes and dislikes—making sure they always feel supported and cared for.

JUDITH CANTADA

Judith works in marketing, and is mom to Sandro, 5, and Lucia, 3. She stays connected to her kids by spending simple but quality time together, whether it’s during daily school drop-offs or enjoying story time. She also makes a conscious effort to limit distractions during these moments by putting their phones away, appreciating how much more connected they become.

KAREN JIMENO

Lawyer, newspaper columnist, and Bilyonaryo News Channel host Karen juggles a packed schedule, but there’s one thing she never compromises: quality time with her 3-year-old son, Evan Keith. Every day, her noontime break is reserved just for him—picking him up from school and eating lunch together before heading back to work. And when the day winds down, she doesn’t miss the opportunity to spend more time together, making family her ultimate priority.

KRISTINA SY

Kristina is the Co-Founder and CEO of Electric Studio and is mom to 4-year-old Luiz, and a newborn son named Sandro. She is mindful about bonding moments with her son and makes sure to show up for his passions like jiujitsu and swimming. Their nightly gratitude rituals and weekend dates also help them create precious memories.

KRIS BERNAL

Actress Kris Bernal may have taken a backseat from the spotlight since welcoming her first daughter Hailee, 16 months, but it’s a conscious choice she’s more than happy to make. Proudly in her “mom era,”’ she says motherhood has taught her to slow down and savor the moments, focused on being fully present for her little girl. For Kris, the connection she has with her child is what makes parenting worth all the sacrifices.

KRISTINE DEE

As a jeweler and owner of her eponymous jewelry line known for its handcrafted artisanal and bespoke pieces, Kristine works with a lot of precious and valuable materials in her business. But her most precious gem is no doubt her son Tyler, 17, with whom she stays connected to by immersing herself in his world— diving into his interests, be it music, fashion, or anything under the sun.

KRYZ UY YOUNG

She may be one of the most popular—and active—moms of social media, but Kryz doesn’t let her online presence take her away from Scott, 4, Seven, 2, Saxon, 5 months, her three boys with husband Slater. She tries to unplug when they’re together so they can spend alone time without any distractions, and loves going on one-on-one dates with each of them once a week.
