Meet Peppa Pig’s New Sister, Evie!
Peppa Pig’s family has expanded with the arrival of the family’s latest member Evie
Peppa Pig’s family just got a little bigger! In true British royal fashion, the arrival of baby sister Evie was announced with much pomp and a lot of love.
Mummy Pig confirmed the news in a voice email, and shortly after, she and Daddy Pig shared a photo with Evie outside London’s iconic St. Mary’s Hospital, echoing the grand birth announcements of British royalty.
“Mummy and Daddy Pig have made their royal appearance with precious baby Evie,” the statement read.

Peppa Pig’s Growing Family
In an interview with People, Mummy Pig expressed joy and relief over the new addition to their family.
“I’m so thrilled Evie is finally here, happy and healthy! I won’t say it was an easy birth because I’m not sure such a thing exists — oink! But it was all worth it once she was snug and safe in my arms, and the family got to meet her properly.”
Peppa and George have already stepped into their roles as big siblings. According to Mummy Pig, Evie is thriving in the company of her older siblings.
“They’re already quite the little trio! Just like Peppa, Evie loves music — no matter what is playing, she’ll jiggle and giggle along.”
When it came to choosing a name, the family took their time.
“Evie is a perfect fit – it was the name of my Great Aunt, and our little one’s eyes just lit up when we first suggested it, like she knew it was her name already.”
A New Adventure Ahead
As any parent knows, the transition to a bigger family isn’t without its challenges. Mummy Pig shares that they’re taking it one step and one squeal at a time.
“There’s been some wobbles here and there — sometimes, it can be tricky for little ones to understand that babies need a lot of Mummy and Daddy’s time and attention.”
“However, we do our best to make sure each little one feels loved and seen, even involving them in all things Evie-related…which is usually a lot, until it’s time for a nappy change!”
The arrival of a new sibling can be daunting for any family, but Mummy Pig is thrilled that her two older piglets have embraced baby Evie with open hooves.
Evie’s Onscreen Debut
News of a new pig character was teased earlier this year, and fans won’t have to wait long — Evie is set to appear in Peppa Pig episodes rolling out at the end of May.
Since its premiere in 2004, Peppa Pig has become one of the most watched children’s shows globally. It airs in over 180 countries and has been translated into more than 40 languages, winning hearts and snorts around the world.
