Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 Extended Until January 14
Families and friends have until January 14 to watch the ten films in the festival!
This is good news for families and friends who have not watched the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024. Noel Ferrer, spokesperson for the MMFF, announced that the committee, chaired by Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman and concurrent MMFF overall Chairman, Don Artes, has extended all films until January 14 in cinemas.
Metro Manila Film Festival Until January 14
“We, at the MMFF, are overwhelmed with the continued support of the public for the festival’s 50th edition. Due to public clamor, we have decided to extend the theatrical run of the MMFF movies to further showcase the locally produced films that are truly impressive and artistically excellent,” Artes said in a statement.
Those who were given Metro Manila Film Festival passes can use them until January 14. Artes, a lawyer by profession, hopes that with the extension, more people will be able to watch the films.
Proceeds from the festival will go to several beneficiaries like the the Movie Workers Welfare Foundation (Mowelfund), the Film Academy of the Philippines, the Motion Picture Anti-Film Piracy Council, the Optical Media Board, and the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).
More cinemas for the winning films
