Mom Makes Gymnastics Reel and The Reactions are Gold!
Mom Breanne Allarie makes a gymnastics reel, inspired by her urge to return to being an athlete after watching the Olympics, that goes viral!
With the Paris Olympics 2024 now in full swing, some of us are probably inspired to get into sports again like swimming or gymnastics. While some of us may forget the thought, others like Breanne Allarie give it a shot as she makes a homemade gymnastics reel, performing some of the tricks in what appears to be her kitchen. With only a mat and her husband as the cameraman, she made a reel that earned every parent’s applause.
Support came from all over!
Once the reel became public, support flooded the chat. Some who were competitive gymnasts themselves applauded her, saying that she “nailed” many of the tricks. Another even commented, “Paris called. The USA gymnastics team’s alternate sprained a toe… YOU’RE UP 👏👏👏❤️” to which Breanne heartily replied with, “IM READY!”

Others remarked that she could’ve had some background in gymnastics and dancing which according to an interview with Today, she does! She once competed in gymnastics in high school at 14 years old and eventually became a dancer.
But what really got us applauding is that her son also saw the reel, declaring, “I give you a gold, mom!”
And he’s not the only one who thinks so! For the past three days, the video has earned over 1 million likes on Instagram and over 1.2 million plays on TikTok.
The Can-Do Attitude of this Mom is Infectious!
When our kids see us perform or chase our passions, we’re still parenting them. We show our willingness and grit to stick to something and see it through to the end. Our reactions if the act doesn’t meet our standards are also something they’ll learn from. When we laugh about “falling short,” they will learn how to do that too. So when Breanne Allarie showed her son her efforts, he learned that all he needs to do in Life is try.
So maybe we don’t have time to do the training or have superhuman attributes like those competing in the Olympics. But we do have superhuman levels of love for our kids and sometimes, we show them that by finding ways to show them how to laugh at Life’s ups and downs and chase what we want in Life.
