Dave (1993)

Dave, starring Kevin Kline, is about a man who resembles the president of the United States William Mitchell (also played by Kline). When the President gets sick, his chief of staff, Bob Alexander convinces him to take over his place and tries to get rid of Vice President Gary Nance in a scandal. Soon, Mtichell’s wife and the First Lady Ellen Mitchell (Sigourney Weaver) discovers his identity and their charade as first couple takes them into situations that could risk their identity and America’s future.

The American President (1995)

Michael Douglas is Andrew Shepherd, president of the United States and a widower. When he meets Sydney Wade (Annette Benning), a lobbyist the two fall in love but their relationship is questioned by many, including Shepherd’s supporters, forcing him to either choose his career or Sydney.

Chasing Liberty (2004)

Anna Foster (Mandy Moore) is the first daughter of President James Foster and First Lady Michelle Foster. Tired of being followed by the Secret Service Agents, her father agreed to give her two security guards. But she is dismayed when she discovers a number of Secret Service Agents at a concert and escapes from them. She meets Ben Calder (Matthew Goode), who unknown to Anna is a Secret Service Agent and accompanies her to an adventure in Europe and find themselves getting close to each other.

The First Daughter (2004)

Katie Holmes of Dawson’s Creek fame plays Samantha McKenzie, the daughter of the president of the United States (Michael Keaton). Wanting a normal college life, Sam meets James Lansonme (Mark Blucas), her resident advisor, who, unknown to her, is a Secret Service Agent. As she experiences college life, Sam also falls for James.

Maid in Manhattan (2002)

Jennifer Lopez plays Marissa Ventura, a single mom who works as a hotel housekeeper. When a senatorial candidate (Ralph Fiennes) mistakenly identifies her as a wealthy socialite, the two become attracted to each other. Still, when her identity is discovered, their social status is put in the spotlight.

From Fastfood to First Lady/ Heart of Power: Mr. Presidents Secret Lover (2024)

This short film, streamed on mobile drama apps, follows the story of US President William Walton (Nic Westaway), who meets Claire Jones (Kirby Ellwood) after being shot accidentally. Claire, who is in debt, asks William for a contractual marriage; unknowingly, he is the president. William tries to hide his identity, and the two later fall in love. Claire, however, finds herself in danger as members of a mob kidnap her.
