Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Reveal Their New Son, Riot Rose

After keeping mum for some time, celebrity musician parents Rihanna and A$AP Rocky reveal their newest son, Riot Rose, to the public with some family photos.

Although sources reported Rihanna giving birth last August, neither musician confirmed it on their official Instagram handles. However, it’s confirmed now as Rihanna and A$AP Rocky shared a sweet and candid family photo of them with their latest addition: their son, Riot Rose with TMZ. Their eldest, RZA, joined them in the photo with the whole family matching in denim.

Multiple possible reasons why Rihanna and A$AP Rocky kept it private

While some celebrities announce the birth themselves, others may prefer to keep it private perhaps to enjoy some quiet time with their new baby. There’s also that desire to have a small break from the limelight. Both Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are a power couple in the music world, making it difficult for them to live their lives as just the parents of RZA and Riot Rose.

But the latest release of the photos could also mean they already established some normalcy in their family life with Riot Rose included. Can we also just say? Rihanna sure knows how to rock postpartum well!

Cherishing the normal moments

Deciding to introduce their child to the limelight is a choice that no celebrity can easily back out of. People will put all their actions under a microscope — something that celebrity parents know can be discomforting since it’ll leave little room to make mistakes. Perhaps it’s why Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are keeping the family photos to a minimum: giving RZA and Riot Rose a semblance of what it means to be a normal kid and not the children of celebrities.
