Sunlight Air’s New Fleet Makes Family Travel in the Philippines a Breeze
Filipino families will now be able to fly to new destinations in the country with Sunlight Air’s new aircraft, ATR 72-600
With the holidays fast approaching, Filipino families are already dreaming of their next getaway — a time to relax, reconnect, and create new memories together. However, as every parent knows, planning a family trip also means considering comfort for kids, convenience, and staying within budget.
Sunlight Air may be the answer. The boutique airline recently welcomed its newest aircraft, the ATR 72-600, expanding its fleet and opening up more family-friendly destinations across the Philippines.

Expanding Horizons
The ATR 72-600 joins Sunlight Air’s existing fleet of three ATR 72-500s, offering cozy 68-seat cabins ideal for families who prefer less crowded flights. For parents traveling with children, that means more breathing room and a calmer atmosphere in the air.
“This new aircraft is only one manifestation of the airline’s growth over the past few years,” shared Ryna Brito-Garcia, CEO of Sunlight Air. “Our fleet expansion aligns with our goal to continuously improve our services, expand our route offerings, and extend our signature brand of hospitality to even more travelers.”

More Destinations to Explore
Beginning October 26, Sunlight Air adds new routes: Clark–Siargao, Siargao–Cebu, Cebu–Busuanga, and Busuanga–Clark. Starting December 15, the airline will also begin flying to Siquijor four times a week — the first to offer direct flights from Cebu.
With hubs in Manila, Clark, and Cebu, Sunlight Air continues to connect families to popular island destinations such as Boracay, Coron (Busuanga), Siargao, and Cagayan de Oro. And with the airline’s hotel partnerships, families can easily plan seamless vacations from flight to stay.

Time to Fly
Whether it’s your first family trip to Siargao or a return to your favorite island, Sunlight Air’s cozy cabins, warm service, and expanding routes make discovering the Philippines smoother — and more enjoyable — for everyone.
