Toddler Techno: How Lenny Pearce Makes Kid Parties Worth The Rave

Ever bored of the typical kiddie parties? Dad of two (soon to be three) Lenny Pearce may have just created the solution with Toddler Techno

Every parent with young kids will admit – the songs from their kids’ shows live rent-free in their head and no amount of work will kick them out! But what if there was a way to actually make the songs more fun for both parents and kids? Meet Lenny Pearce, a dad who remixed songs that our toddlers loved to sing with some cool beats and made them party-worthy! The genre now has a name: Toddler Techno.

What is Toddler Techno?

Techno music always used electronics as the source of sounds for the songs. It’s why they’re so useful for parties; they work with the black light, the colorful lights from the bracelets and spotlights, and even the drinks. But can that kind of approach work with the family-friendly baby music and nursery rhymes? Sure, it’s hard to imagine since toddler music’s meant to help settle down and learn. But let’s be honest: the rave version of “Itsy Bitsy Spider” might be more welcome to live rent-free in our heads than its original mix.

For those wondering what a baby rave or toddler rave party looks like, Lenny Pearce posts snippets of it on his Instagram. He’s mixed so many songs that are popular among toddlers, like songs from Tomorrowland, Spongebob Squarepants, and even The Wiggles, with other songs that parents enjoy! One beat we particularly like is his mix of Tokyo Drift and the Wiggles song!

If anyone’s wondering how he came up with Toddler Techno, he writes on an Instagram post, “I make bangers so Toddlers & Parents can vibe together💥🪩.”

Making kiddie parties more fun!

We’re always racking our brains to make our kids’ birthday parties more fun. Sometimes, we switch up the place by booking an events space or play café. Other times, we doll up the usual fast-food chain by bringing in a lot of giveaways both parents and kids will enjoy. So, if we’re looking for a way to throw a party for our kids, Lenny Pearce’s unique blend of EDM and toddler music may just be the answer!
