The couple held a gender reveal party and the Manzano family is welcoming a baby girl very soon!

It’s a baby girl for Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano! The couple announced the gender of their baby in a vlog posted on Thursday, August 25.

In the vlog, the couple’s family and friends attended the gender reveal party held at the Manila House. Luis’ mom, actress Vilma Santos, was in attendance. Jessy’s mom, Didith Garvida, was also present.

In the vlog, both admitted they had their own preferences. Jessy wanted a boy while Luis wanted a girl. Regardless of gender, Luis said that the health of the baby whom they call Peanut was more important.

“The priority has always been for Peanut to be healthy regardless of the gender,” he said. “Mommy and I will do our best to raise you, for you to be a blessing to other people.”

Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano confirmed the news that they were going to be parents last August 11. The actress-vlogger is currently in her 5th month of pregnancy and is likely to give birth in December.
