What We Know Of The Live-Action Tangled So Far
Tangled is the latest Disney flick that is reportedly getting a live-action film!
Looks like Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder are coming back soon! Disney is reportedly developing a live-action film based on the 2010 flick.
According to Variety, Michael Gracey, known for his work on The Greatest Showman is in talks to direct the film and Jennifer Kaytin Robinson wrote the script. The cast for the film has yet to be announced.
A call for a new film
The reported live-action film comes after early this year, Zachary Levi expressed he would love to see it come to life. Levi voiced Flynn Rider.
The actor also said that given a chance, he and Mandy Moore, who voiced Rapunzel, can come onboard the parents and would love to see Timothee Chalamet play Flynn. Mandy, on the other hand, expressed in seeing Sabrina Carpenter play Rapunzel.
Tangled is a 2010 animated film based on the story of Rapunzel. She meets Flynn Ryder as they embark on an adventure to get to her parents and later find themselves together.
Over the years, Disney has made live-action films. The latest to be brought to life is Snow White, starring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot, which opens in March 2025.
Other films that have been made into live-action include Aladdin, Cinderella, and Beauty and the Beast.
