2023 Halloween Events For Kids and the Family
With Halloween coming up in 2023, here are some fun events happening for the family and kids.
Filipinos love celebrating holidays as a family and Halloween is no different. With Halloween on October 31 and ushering in the long weekend on November 1 and 2, there’s a long list of activities the kids can do before going back to the books. From spending staycations, watching movie series, and visiting activity centers, here are some Halloween events and activities the kids and family can do in 2023.
Halloween Skele-Bration
Most events are held in the South but not this one! For the Halloween Skele-Bration this coming October 29, 2023, it’ll be a fun time at the top floor of Ayala Vertis North Mall at the Japan Town Hall. There will be various activities including DIY cupcake designing, a balloon show, side activities, and the best part: a Halloween loot bag giveaway! The best part is, our pets get to join!
You can check out their facebook for more details!
“Game On! Treats On!” Kiddie Halloween Party
This coming October 29, 2023, SEDA BGC is holding an arcade-themed Halloween costume party wherein kids can play various games and win costume contests. From 1:00 – 5:00 PM, it’s a spooktacular Sunday event waiting to happen wherein both kids and their companions can participate! There will also be special prizes for particular categories! For more details, check out their FB!
Haunted Harvest
In La Vida Resort and Events in Batangas, there’s going to be a party known as the Haunted Harvest. From various inflatables, activities, and candies to collect, families who are spending their staycation in the Batangas area will now have something for their kids to do on October 29, 2023.

Nightmare Manila
If the family is looking for a thrill trip, Nightmare Manila has various activities like puzzle rooms, a horror house, a zombie-themed paintball arena, and a café for some spooky fun. They even have promos wherein booking as a group is much cheaper than going solo. As for parking, it’ll take some talking to the barangay tanods so they can let you park near the basketball court.
The activity space is in a subdivision located at Dr. A. Santos Ave. cor. Rainbow Dr Goodwill 2 Subd., Brgy, Parañaque, 1720 Metro Manila.

Theatre Binge
Some cinemas offer an entire schedule filled with horror movies for their Halloween events and 2023 has no shortage of films from that genre. They’ll combine both local and international movies in their lineup, with there being no shortage of horror movies. But if your home already has a theatre setup then, maybe the family might prefer a Netflix binge! And to add more fun, maybe have a staycation while doing so.

A trip to Baguio
Baguio may be known for its raisin bread, strawberry jam, peanut brittle, and other sweet goodies to enjoy with their coffee. But it also has another title: the Ghost Capital of the Philippines. Besides the Diplomat Hotel and Teacher’s Camp, there are many places to visit in Baguio that have a spooktacular tale behind them. Even the prestigious Baguio Country Club has its own anthology of ghost stories to tell.

Venture Through Manila After Dark
Relive history and its darkest aspects for a more eventful Halloween 2023 in Intamuros. Especially at night, Fort Santiago always emitted that eerie aura that scared away even the staunchest of hearts. There’s even an annual event in Intramuros, showcasing the different buildings and structures at night. Some even say that they can hear the whispers from the cracks of the aging buildings and structures around Intramuros.
To book a tour, people normally message their Facebook page.

Spooky Photoshoot
Some families enjoy Halloween, not for the candy but for dressing up. It’s the holiday to break out distinct fashion styles and handmade costumes and we would love to commemorate it with a photoshoot. While some parents are shutterbugs, there are also some photographers and studios who offer photoshoots for those who want to commemorate their Halloween with a costume runway.
There’s going to be a lot more Halloween events this 2023! So stay tuned!
A lot of malls and public areas will soon become an event space for Halloween 2023. The usual places like BGC Highstreet, Market! Market!, Paseo de Roxas (near Ayala Triangle, Makati), Eton Centris (Quezon City), SM Megamall, and Shangri-La will most likely be the hosts for some of these events. Especially if our kids want to make their debut as cosplayers or just want to look amazing in their costumes, these events will definitely give them something to post on their social media.
