Britney Spears and Sam Asghari Are Married
Britney Spears and long-time beau Sam Asghari married on June 9 in Los Angeles.
Britney Spears is a married woman again! The “Stronger” singer married her longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 9. Her closest friends attended.
Britney wore a Donatella Versace gown and the designer herself was present. Makeup artist Charlotte Tilsbury did her look. Other guests include Madonna, Paris Hilton, and Selena Gomez.
Britney’s two kids Sean and Jayde with ex-husband Kevin Federline were not present. But in a statement released through Kevin’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, the two boys and Federline were very happy for Britney.
Following her wedding, Britney posted photos from her special day. In one post, she wrote: “We did it! We got married! It was the most spectacular day! I was so nervous all morning but then at 2:00 pm it really hit me … WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!”
“I had a panic attack and then got it together … the crew who created our home into literally a dream castle were fantastic! The ceremony was a dream and the party was even better!!! So many incredible people came to our wedding and I’m still in shock .”
A happy ending
Britney and Sam’s wedding comes weeks after the couple announced they suffered a miscarriage. It Would have been Britney’s third child and Sam’s first.
The celebration also capped Britney’s struggles. In 2021, she was able to get her freedom back after being under a conservatorship managed by her dad for 13 years.
Since gaining her freedom, Britney has been traveling with Sam and trying to get her life in control.
Britney, who started her career as part of the defunct Mickey Mouse Club has since become one of the world’s best-selling recording artists with hits such as “Baby One More Time,” “I’m A Slave For U,” and “Toxic.”
