We Love Olivia Reyes’ Cover of Andra Day’s Rise Up!
Tears were shed when we watched Olivia Reyes sing Rise Up by Andra Day.
We’ve all been very supportive of Olivia’s pursuit of music. With her taking lessons from Jade Riccio and even slaying it with Maymay Entrata, Olivia’s hard work has been paying off. Celebrity content creator and mom Andi Manzano-Reyes recently shared a video of Olivia Reyes singing Andra Day’s Rise Up. She shared that she cried and also acknowledged the difficulty of the song. “This was such a hard song to sing but you pushed yourself and did it,” Andi wrote.

An inspiring cover!
The perfect song to summarize the struggle of learning something new or honing one’s passion, Andra Day’s Rise Up is proof that Olivia Reyes is now several steps (and notes) closer to her dreams. The multiple high notes to belt and hold are not easy. And if not trained to do so properly, it can have some lasting damage. But she is proof that it is possible with the right training.
Olivia Reyes’ vocal coach, Jade Riccio, commented on how much in awe she was of the little girl’s talent.
Rise Up and Keep Going, Olivia!
With two covers to her name, Girl on Fire and Rise Up, Olivia Reyes is now slowly making her way to hopefully starting her own YouTube channel where we can replay her songs and watch her grow in love with music. Olivia is also proof of how amazing children can be when the right support and love are there. Keep going, Olivia! We’re rooting for you!
