Why We Love That Dimples Romana Got Her Son A Furbaby

Here’s why we think it’s so adorable that celebrity mom Dimples Romana bought her son, Elio, a furbaby.

We always see those heartwarming pet reels where a baby and a fur baby grow up together, becoming the most inseparable of friends. That reel is about to become a reality in the Romana-Ahmee home as celebrity mom Dimples Romana introduces what appears to be a baby Golden Doodle named Leo to be her youngest son, Elio’s, partner.

“So far he’s been super lambing and sweet with E!” Dimples gushes on her Instagram, even sharing a short and cute reel of the two meeting each other.

What’s a Golden Doodle?

According to Daily Paws, the Golden Doodle is a recommended family pet because of its intelligence and loyalty. As a crossbreed between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle, it inherited the playful and friendly nature of the Golden Retriever while having some bits of a Poodle’s brilliant but quiet personality. Most of all, they are not that vocal, only barking when needed.

Because of their gentle nature, they make excellent emotional support dogs. Leo’s perfect for Dimples Romana’s son, Elio, because as the little boy grows, he’ll have his fur-ever partner with him. And even if he’s allergic to other kinds of dog fur, he won’t be to Leo. The Golden Doodle doesn’t shed as much!

The Magical Bond Between Baby and Fur Baby

Animals have protective instincts, especially when they discover their fur-ever homes. As a dog, Leo has an instinct known as a pack instinct. Because he sees Elio as part of his pack, he will accompany him wherever he goes! But growing up with a dog also helps the little boy. A study published at the University of Michigan proves that kids who grew up with animals develop better skills in expressing empathy and compassion compared to kids who don’t.

Dimples Romana’s son now has a fur-ever friend!

Getting our kids their own pets doesn’t just teach compassion and empathy. It also exposes them to the concept of responsibility. Pets are living beings and have their own needs, creating opportunities for kids to learn how to be sensitive to other people’s needs based on body language. And in getting Elio a dog, Dimples just made her home a warmer place to be. Cheers to Elio for now having a fur-ever friend!
