Cristine Reyes Confirms Her Marriage To Ali Khatibi is Annulled
Cristine Reyes and Marco Gumabao dropped by Fast Talk where she shared details about their relationship and the annulment of her marriage to Ali Khatibi.
Cristine Reyes and Marco Gumabao appeared as guests of Boy Abunda during the February 1 episode of Fast Talk. And for the first time, she shared details about her relationship with Marco and the annulment of her marriage to ex-husband Al Khatibi.
Annulment of her marriage
During the conversation, Cristine confirmed that her marriage to Ali had been annulled. “Hindi ko naman siya in-announce. It’s not something I should celebrate.”
The couple wed back in 2016. But only after two years, the two split up. They have since been co-parenting their daughter Amara.
About her new relationship, Cristine admitted that she and Marco have talked about settling down.
“Yes, yung future together. Pero yung details or kung ano, of course, konti-konti. Pero yung mas… the long, longer alone, yun ang napag-uusapan namin.”
Relationship with Amara
Because they’ve been together for a while now, Marco revealed that his and Cristine’s family have given them their blessings.
“Very close siya sa family ko, and at the same time, we also hang out with her family,” Marco shared. “One time, we brought her mom to church, so that was a memorable experience.”
The actor also shared that his mom and Cristine’s mom have gotten well with one another. As for Cristine’s sister Ara, he said that he has been friends with her for a while now. ” I worked with her a lot of times. So nung nalaman niya, she was happy for us.”
Amara, on the other hand, has also become close to him. “We’re also close because the funny thing is nung nag teleserye kami the first time we met, super baby pa nung si Amara. And she would always bring Amara to work. So kung baga, I saw Amara technically grow up. I always had a sweet spot for her nung bata pa siya.“
The couple confirmed their relationship last year when they shared photos on Instagram.
