There’s Another Blippi And Here’s Why!
Ben Mayer is the third person to play Blippi for it’s upcoming series!
There’s another guy about to play Blippi. Stevin John and Clayton Grimm, who play the beloved character, are not going anywhere.
In an exclusive interview with Parents, Mike Katzman, general manager of Blippi, explained the reason for hiring Ben Mayer as the third person to don the character.
“We decided to introduce a new Blippi actor because the demand for Blippi content has grown so much that it’s simply too much for one person to cover,” Katzman said. “With more exciting themes and adventures to explore, having another actor allows us to continue delivering high-quality, engaging content at the pace our fans love.”
The decision to add Mayer is an opportunity to dive further into Blippi’s world, coming up with creative and fresh ideas for the audience.

What to expect from the new Blippi and series?
Ben Mayer’s entry as Blippi gives the people behind the show to expand Blippi’s universe. His entry coincided with the announcement of Blippi’s Vroom Vroom Vehicle Show last November 16, which focuses on trucks, cars, and airplanes.
The decision to focus on vehicles was inspired by episodes back in 2021 says Katzman.
“Since 2021, our vehicle episodes have amassed over 8 billion views on YouTube, and many of our most popular songs—like the ‘Excavator Song,’ ‘Garbage Truck Song,’ and ‘Monster Truck Song’—are all about vehicles,” he said.
The four-episode series will have a kid expert and a professional. True to its mission, curiosity will be the main focus of the show.
The people behind Blippi are aware of the many questions in the family’s minds with another person paying the character. One thing is for sure, it will still be the same Blippi they love.
