Maritoni Fernandez’s Next Great Role: Grandmother to Baby Lottie

Maritoni Fernandez is now a grandmother with the arrival of her granddaughter, Lottie, the daughter of Lexi Fernandez and Charles Cordingley

Actress and wellness advocate Maritoni Fernandez has officially stepped into her “Lola era.” Last week, her daughter, former actress Lexi Fernandez, and her husband Charles Cordingley welcomed their baby girl, Charlotte “Lottie” Cordingley.

“This morning at 6:48 am, Lexi and my life became immeasurably brighter,” Charles wrote on Instagram on September 5. “We have the pleasure of welcoming Charlotte ‘Lottie’ Cordingley into our lives and introducing her to you all.

“Both Lexi and Lottie are doing fantastic and getting some well-earned rest. Thank you all for your prayers; they mean the world to us.”

Lola Era Begins

On her own Instagram, Maritoni shared a series of heartwarming photos holding her granddaughter. “Lola era begins now,” she captioned one post.

In another update, she wrote: “Visiting our little Lottie and Mama Lexi Cordingley and Daddy Charles Cordingley, who are all doing great! Lolo Mon Dayrit and Tito Diego Dayrit got to hold her today. What a blessing! So much love.”

Known for her iconic kontrabida roles and her passion for wellness, Maritoni couldn’t help but gush over baby Lottie. “Isn’t she a beauty?” she wrote.

In her most recent post, she holds her sleeping apo and wrote: “My precious apo Lottie, at 3 days old. Thank you, Jesus, for this precious gift.”

A Grandparent’s Gift

Lottie’s arrival comes just in time for Grandparents Day on September 14, making the celebration even more meaningful for Maritoni and her family. This new chapter marks a full-circle moment, not only for Lexi as a first-time mom, but also for Maritoni as she steps into the role of grandmother with pride.

Earlier this year, Maritoni shared a touching tribute to Lexi’s motherhood journey: “Soon you’ll be a mama yourself, and you’ll know how much it truly means when I say to you that ‘I love you!’ I already know what an amazing Mom you’ll be….you learned from me! “

Now, with baby Lottie in their arms, Maritoni and her husband Mon Dayrit are savoring life as grandparents — and embracing every moment with full hearts.
