It’s the time of the year again and we all know that you’ll be thinking about where to take your kids to see Christmas trees light up. As restrictions slowly ease and malls and leisure places prepare for the holidays, we rounded up five places you can visit and see the tree light up in Metro Manila.
1. The Giant Christmas Tree at Araneta City
The Giant Christmas Tree at Araneta City has become a yearly tradition. The big tree is found at Park Square where the Mini Fiesta Carnival is located as well.
Its Showtime host Vice Ganda and the Binibining Pilipinas Queens led the opening of the Christmas tree last October 28.
Aside from the Big Christmas Tree, families can also enjoy watching the Christmas on Display which has two shows per hour from Monday to Sunday until January 8, 2023.
2. Filipino Christmas Tree at Joy Nostalg
Unlike other Christmas trees in hotels, the Christmas tree at the Joy Nostalg is made of materials such as rattan and capiz shells. Moreover, the tree has parols made by the people deprived of liberty from the San Juan City Jail.
3. The Christmas Tree and Decorations at SM Mall of Asia Arena
If you are often at the Mall of Asia, then you can bring your family to look at the Christmas tree and decorations at SM. They even encourage you to have your snaps posted.
4. Christmas Trees at Ayala Malls
The celebrations in Ayala have been ongoing since November. Check out the Christmas tree in Glorietta and have your photos taken as it lights up!
5. The Christmas Tree at Okada Manila
Take your family to Okada Manila and dine in their various restaurants. In between eating, shopping, and watching the fountain, you can also check out their big Christmas tree launched last November 29.
