Actress Son Ye-jin confirmed that she is pregnant with her first child and announced it on Instagram.
Crash Landing on You stars Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin are expecting their first child. On Monday, June 27, the actress confirmed that she is pregnant. “A new life has come to us…I’m still a bit dazed, but I am feeling changes in my body every day with concern and excitement,” Ye-jin shared on Instagram in an English translation provided by the Korean website Soompi.
“Before it gets later, I am sharing this news with fans and acquaintances who must have been waiting as much as us. We will make sure to protect the valuable life that has come to us. I hope all of you will also protect what is valuable in your lives and live in good health.”
The couple, who married last March, first confirmed their engagement in February. Fans, including and especially moms, couldn’t stop gushing.

Since it was first broadcast on Netflix, Crash Landing on You became one of the top K-dramas on the streaming site. It also catapulted Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin into one of the most popular tandems.
The two first worked together on the movie The Negotiation before doing CLOY. Aside from the show, the couple also did a commercial for telecom giant Smart. Since then, they’ve gained an almost cult-like following among Filipino families who get giddy watching them together.
