Eva Patalinjug Adds Being a Lawyer to Her Achievements
Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2018 Eva Patalinjug is not just a mother, businesswoman, and beauty pageant national director. She is officially a lawyer.
Beauty queen Eva Patalinjug is now officially a lawyer. After passing the bar in April, the Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2018 titleholder, mother of one, businesswoman, and Hiyas ng Pilipinas national director has taken her oath last May 3 and signed the roll of attorneys.
“Took the lawyer’s oath surrounded by the people who never left my side. My WHY’s,” she wrote.
“Signed the Roll of Attorneys with a grateful heart, now, officially a lawyer. Still looking forward to all the things I have yet to learn.”
In one of her Instagram stories days after officially becoming a lawyer, Eva shared a photo outside of a courthouse, saying: “My first appearance. Atty. Eva Psychee Patalinjug, respectfully appearing as counsel for the respondent, your Honor.”
A multitasking woman
Since graduating last year from her law course in Cebu, Eva has been juggling various tasks. She attends to being a mom to Frederick, doing wedding preparations with fiance Francis Lim, as well as other duties.
In an Instagram post after her graduation in 2022, Eva reflected on the challenges she faced while finishing law.
“To say that taking up law is ‘challenging’ is an understatement and juggling various projects, being a new mom, and law school is another. Always asked, how did I do it? It was not a walk in the park, from being sleep-deprived, caffeine-dependent, studying on one hand, and breastfeeding on the other and to occasional breakdowns, I was already determined to quit but very thankful to these people for inspiring me to continue,” she wrote.
She thanked her son and fiance for being by her side as well as the people who cheered her to finish and become the person that she is today.
“This one also goes to all of you! May this serve as an inspiration to continue to strive hard, no matter what life throws at you. To never give up, never surrender and rise against all odds.”
