1 Traditional cut
The traditional cut is the most common fry in the market or packages. It’s cut straight and can be found in fast-food chains. Although it comes in different sizes, the traditional cut fry according to a foodrepublic report is long and 3/8 inch thick.
2 Shoestring or match stick fries
The shoestring or matchstick fries are cut thinner and sometimes in small sizes. it got its name because of its cut like a shoe string or match stick.
3 Crinkle cut fries
If you’ve been to Shake Shack, chances are you are familiar with the crinkle-cut fries. The shape allows the fries to cook with an extra crisp and gets more sauce when you dip it!
4 Curly fries
Who doesn’t love a twister fry? The curly fries have become very familiar in the fast food chain thanks to McDonalds! It needs a spiralizer to get the shape though, so it’s best to buy them or just get it from the supermarket when you are in a hurry to cook or eat it.
5 Waffle style
The name says it all but the difference is that it comes in small size. The waffle fries have a criscross texture with many ridges, crevices, and holes that give you that crispy texture. Eating it outside is crispy but retains its softness when you bite into it.
6 Tater Tots
Tater tots are pillowy and soft potato bites. it’s like a small version of hashbrowns that you can bite into or like nugget style. One of the best things about tater tots is that you can put some filling inside. You can even bake it if you want to go healthy.
7 Mojos
If you are a regular eater in Shakeys, then you get to order mojos with your pizza. Mojos are thin round-shaped slices cooked that are crispy around the edges and soft in the middle. Aside from pizza, it’s paired with chicken and gravy.
