Feeling Hair-Free at Home: GoodWork Finally Offers Their Own Waxing Services

We’re not the only ones itching to get rid of these pesky hair strands, right?

Even if we didn’t want to, we’ve all been forced to become homebodies for the past year and a half. The global pandemic has created an unexpected halt to almost everything, if not everything, that we were attuned to experiencing beforehand. This includes hanging out with our friends, celebrating accomplishments and special events with family, and having some alone-time self-care activities like visiting the salon for some snips, cuts, and waxes here and there. It’s undeniable that we miss our routines back then, and this led to GoodWork, an app for home and wellness services in the Philippines, finally including home waxing services under its beauty category.

Right to our doorsteps

Launched in the fourth quarter of 2018, GoodWork was established by Andrew Koger who previously ran Lazada’s Fulfillment by Lazada service in Manila. Being able to witness the power and influence of the ecommerce industry in the Philippines, Koger decided to create his own ecommerce company in the form of an app that offers home and beauty services that aren’t just high-quality, but affordable as well.

Bye, hair!

Apart from their current lineup of services such as home cleaning, fast laundry pick-up and delivery, and haircuts, GoodWork has begun incorporating waxing services that can be done at home. They decided to do so to redefine what it means to get pampered, and for us to be able to live out the full salon experience–all from the comfort of our own homes. We can now get rid of those pesky and unnecessary hair strands on our brows, underarms, legs, and more in just a few clicks on their app. We are also assured that safety is of utmost priority as the GoodWork Pros are clad in personal protective equipment, regularly tested for COVID-19, and able to provide medical certificates or proof of vaccination upon request.

Experience GoodWork’s variety of services by downloading the app on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Huawei AppGallery. For more information, visit their official website.
