Typhoon Season: Here’s How You Can Help And Donate In Relief Operations
Metro Manila and parts of the country continue to experience rains as Tropical Depression Emong and Tropical Storm Dante enhance the monsoon
Amid the strong rains in Metro Manila, feeding centers and soup kitchens have been activated to help the evacuees affected by the Habagat, Typhoon Crising, Tropical Storm Dante, and Tropical Depression Emong.
Angat Buhay has activated its call for volunteers, with people at the Maginhawa Food Community cooking. They also posted locations to help in cooking food and packing relief goods.
Chef Tatung Sarthou also posted that they are accepting food ingredients at Trinings in Marikina, where volunteers have been busy cooking since Tuesday, July 22.

ABS-CBN Foundation and GMA’s Kapuso Foundation have also mobilized their teams, distributing food and relief goods affected by Crising and the Habagat. ABS-CBN started its distribution in Marikina last July 22.
GMA Kapuso Foundation, on the other hand, went to Montalban, Rizal, on Wednesday, July 23, to start distributing the relief goods. They also went to Bulacan on Tuesday, July 22, to help in relief operations.

As of Wednesday, July 23, Tropical Depression Emong has joined Tropical Storm Dante in bringing more rain to the country. Classes on July 24 have been suspended.
Several parts of Metro Manila and Luzon remain flooded, with parts of Visayas also badly affected by the monsoon.
Twelve people have been reported dead, brought by the habagat and Crising.
